"Former" Chief Stearns served the Tangent Fire District for almost a year in an Interim position until a suitable replacement could be found as a permanent Chief. Chief Stearns was instrumental in leading the process for hiring a replacement. He and his wife Becky, quickly became part of the Tangent FD family.
